If you are new to snowsports, don't forget to make a reservation for a snowsport lesson at the Powder Ridge. Classes fill up quickly and instructors may be limited to certain times. Participants must be 6 years old or older.
Group lessons are beginners only. Group lessons are on weekdays at 5 pm and 6 pm, and on weekends at 1 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm. The cost of a lesson is $20 per person.
If you are experienced in snowsports, make sure that you book an advanced lesson ahead of time. Private lessons and semi-private lessons are available as well. These lessons are usually $60.
If you aren't wanting snow sporting lessons, you can always enjoy tubing. The Powder Ridge has a tuber mover set on a conveyor system where you can stand on your tube and enjoy the ride up the hill. Snow tubing requires no skill, just some warm clothes.
Regular tubing hours are on Fridays from 5 pm to 8 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 7 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm. The tubing rate is $21 per person for a total of two hours. For each additional hour it costs $6. Children under the age of 4 are not allowed to ride the tubes. Specific tubes are not allowed to be reserved. Outside food is not permitted.
